Recipients of the prestigious Superstar Award have distinguished themselves by achieving superior sales performance in similar sized markets throughout the United States and Canada. Awards were based on the total number of medium and heavy-duty trucks sold during the 2006 calendar year. Additionally, as a condition of the award, Don Teague successfully completed Sterling's Sales Certification Program designating him as a vocational truck sales professional.

Don Teague is one of only 30 Bronze Salesperson Award Winners out of approximately 907 program participants.

GAFFNEY , S.C. — Diesel motorhome owners across the country have high acclaim for Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporations’ (FCCC) Oasis Service Network, and Freightliner dealers continue to recognize that providing RVers with a high level of service means a larger, more loyal customer base and additional profit for their dealership. In 2006, the number of Oasis Service Centers jumped from 65 to 82 and has expanded coverage across the country. Many of the original 65 Oasis dealers continue to improve their service experience by hiring and training more dedicated RV technicians, adding customer amenities and escalating the level of customer service throughout their dealerships.

“More and more of our Oasis dealers are realizing the payoff of providing the special services that RV owners appreciate,” said Dennis Rostenbach, FCCC Dealer Advisor. Some of the more common amenities include a dedicated waiting room for motorhome customers, special electrical hookups, certified motorhome technicians—and more. “It’s what keeps customers coming back, along with the outstanding service experience that our dealers provide,” added Rostenbach.

Oasis dealers are earning recognition for their efforts. Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation created the Oasis Dealer of the YearAward to honor dealers who have exhibited excellence and dedication in servicing motorhomes and providing outstanding service experiences for their customers. For the second time, the award goes to Las Vegas Freightliner for having the highest customer satisfaction rating as determined by Oasis Dealer Surveys, which are submitted by the end customer.

“Over the years, our business volume has increased, largely because our reputation as an Oasis Service Center continues to grow,” says Scott Zeppenfeldt , Vice President of Service at Las Vegas Freightliner. “But we’ve had to improve our level of service to maintain our high standards.” Las Vegas Freightliner has seven dedicated RV service technicians at its 24/7 facility, who service more than 40 motorhomes a month. The facility also has a dedicated service-reception area, customer lounge and service advisors.

Freightliner Trucks Announces 2005-2006 ASPIRE Award Winners and Dealer of the Year

Portland , Ore. – October , 2006 - Freightliner Trucks has announced the recipients of the 2005-2006 ASPIRE Awards. The ASPIRE (Acknowledging Sales, Parts & service, Image and Relationship Excellence) Program recognizes Freightliner Trucks dealers who demonstrate superior sales satisfaction, customer service and achieve high levels of performance in all aspects of their business. The award recipients were recognized at a recent awards ceremony in Carlsbad, Calif.

Qualifying criteria for ASPIRE awards relate to sales performance, service capabilities, parts inventory, financial performance and a wide range of other categories.
