I started with Los Angeles Freightliner in October of 1989 as a Janitor in the service department. I then moved up to Driver for the parts department, Warehouse Shipping/Receiving, Parts Salesman, and now I'm the lead man in the parts department.

working environment:
Los Angeles Freightliner is a nice place to work. As an employee I do not feel pressured by management. As members of the parts department we encourage each other and try and take the best care possible of our customers.

Freightliner Product:
Freightliner is one of the biggest truck names in the market today. Whether I’m visiting family in Mexico or traveling for business in Texas, 80% of the trucks I see on the road are Freightliner. It’s a quality product. Freightliner vehicles are made with Aluminum and synthetic materials creating a lighter truck with a greater payload.

What do you like best about working at Los Angeles Freightliner?
I like my job, I enjoy helping customers. I like to be able to help a customer find the right part for the vehicle especially when they are unsure of our product line. Los Angeles Freightliner is a great company with good bosses and management. I’ve had other offers but I look forward to retiring from Los Angeles Freightliner.

What do you like best about working at Los Angeles Freightliner?
I enjoy the everyday challenge of the work; there is always something different everyday. I also like the Freightliner product; it’s intelligently designed. It’s relatively easy to work on and I’ve worked on it all.

The people here are good to work with. We work well together and if there is a need everyone is always willing to help.

I worked for Ford and International and I can honestly say with the day to day operations and the Freightliner product this is one of the best places in the industry to work. Los Angeles Freightliner keeps you up to date in training and certifications. As an employee you have access to online training & schooling, product resources, & classroom based instruction-it’s a very valuable asset.

I started at Los Angeles Freightliner in the service department in the technician apprentice program. I also worked as a warranty processor and as the assistant foreman for our select truck division; I am now the assistant service manager for our Fontana Service department.

Work Environment:
It’s a good work environment. At times it can get stressful here but everyone works well together. We get along both at work and outside of work.

Los Angeles Freightliner product:
The Freightliner product is a good product. Working for Freightliner gives me the opportunity to work for the biggest and best company in the business. As far as I’m concerned working for anyone except Freightliner is a step backwards. Nobody can offer the same growth and expansion opportunities that Freightliner does.

What do you like best about working for Freightliner?
I enjoy my job, its something different everyday. When I was a technician I would take a problem, evaluate the situation, and then solve the problem. It’s the same thing as service administrator.

People at Los Angeles Freightliner:
We have the best technicians of any shop. Our techs have the best skill level, are personable, and are all around good people. It’s the same way with the office staff; everyone does what the can to help each other out.

I can honestly say joining Los Angeles Freightliner at such a young age I have been given more opportunities than I would have had elsewhere. The amount of growth and the quality of the product we offer is reason enough to work here. No one else can offer that.
